According to psychologists, one of the methods to calm down is to perform breathing exercises where exhalation is longer than inhalation. Among them: whistling, playing wind instruments or blowing soap bubbles.

The "Well-Being Guide" developed by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Psychosocial Support Reference Center recommends blowing soap bubbles if an adult or child is worried or nervous. According to the authors of the guide: "Deep breathing is an effective way to calm down, which will provide an opportunity to improve control over the situation to make a decision on how to proceed".

For adults and children around the world, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have been a source of stress, anxiety, constant change and uncertainty. Individuals and families were forced to communicate less, children missed school, and we all had to change our habits.
